Roanoke County, Virginia is seeking a part-time Administrative Support staff member for the Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department. The role focuses on assisting with program planning, documentation, and routine reports, while using CLASS software to handle registrations and inquiries.

Required : Education equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college courses in recreation, psychology, education or a related field.
Preferred : Associates Degree in Recreation or related field.
Required : Considerable experience in administrative support and working with youth. Education may be substituted for equivalent experience.
Must possess a valid Virginia driver's license and have a good driving record
Subject to a complete criminal history and Child Protective Services background search with acceptable results. Must be able to perform the job as described in the Physical and Environmental Demands section of this job description.
