State of Missouri is seeking a Social Services Aide/Community Mentor to support youth in day treatment and residential programs. The role focuses on creating a safe, therapeutic environment and guiding youth through daily activities and learning opportunities.

Responsibilities include transportation, tutoring, and building constructive relationships. A valid driver’s license is required; prior juvenile-related experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Prior experience with juveniles or college coursework in social sciences/criminal justice is desired.
• Ability to communicate clearly, honestly and openly.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries with clients.
• This is a part-time, hourly position with no benefits.

Responsabilités

• Transport youth to school, appointments, or activities in a state vehicle.
• Spend time with youth to develop constructive relationships and provide guidance.
• Provide tutoring or academic assistance with schoolwork or homework.
• Assist client in securing employment and developing community resources.
• Meet regularly with supervisor and maintain written logs of client contact for documentation.
• Monitor client attendance and maintain confidentiality.
