Job summary

The City of Port Townsend Public Library is seeking a youth services professional at either Associate Librarian or Library Associate level, depending on qualifications.

Under supervision, you will provide reference services, support youth and teen programming, and assist with collection development and cataloging activities. You may help staff at the children's and public services desks and participate in outreach and community events.

Qualifications

• Able to provide reference and readers advisory services.
• Plan and implement youth/teen programming.
• Assist in youth/teen collection development.

Responsibilities

• Respond to patrons using a variety of sources.
• Assist with reference, computer use, and catalog systems.
• Develop and present youth programs for all ages.
