Job summary

Allegheny County DHS is seeking an Intake Coordinator to manage the case assignment process for the Youth Services Program (YSP) Unit, support recruitment, referrals, screening and onboarding of new staff, and perform administrative duties. You would be an employee of our partner agency, Community Family Advocates working onsite at Allegheny County DHS.

The role requires confidentiality, strong organizational skills, and ability to work with youth, families and stakeholders; you will work onsite

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in psychology, sociology or human services.
• At least 1 year of experience in human services or office environment.
• Strong communication, confidentiality and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees case assignment process for the YSP Unit and monitors referrals.
• Supports recruitment, screening and onboarding of new staff.
• Provides administrative support and reports to management.
• Maintains data across multiple databases and supports grant reporting.
• Attends meetings and maintains calendars and office operations.
