Job summary

The Older Youth Program Coordinator at Allegheny County DHS leads execution and improvement for older youth contracts in the Office of Community Services. Qualifications

• Five years of experience in human/social services, youth programming, or education.
• Strong written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Experience collaborating with internal and external partners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees DHS youth programs including 412 Youth Zone and Learn and Earn to meet outcomes.
• Provides guidance to program directors to set vision and strategies.
• Monitors deliverables and outcomes to ensure quality services.
• Represents DHS in local, state and national youth forums.
• Identifies grants and reports on funding streams for older youth initiatives.
