Harris County Resources for Children and Adults seeks a qualified Crisis Counselor/Case Manager to support at-risk youth and their families in Tomball ISD. Under supervision of the CYS Supervisor, you will provide school-based crisis intervention, short case management, assessments, service coordination, and referrals, ensuring safety, confidentiality, and accurate documentation.

You will collaborate with school districts, community partners, and internal teams; participate in district crisis

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, Criminal Justice, Counseling, or closely related field.
• Minimum of one year of paid crisis counseling and case management experience with youth and families.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and case management software.

Aufgaben

• Provide crisis counseling and case management services to at-risk youth and families.
• Assist with safety planning and short-term problem solving.
• Provide crisis debriefing as part of the district crisis response team.
• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify needs.
• Develop short-term care plans with youth, families, and school personnel.
• Coordinate services across systems and connect families with resources.
• Maintain confidential, timely documentation in the agency database.
• Promote and market CYS services to school staff and community members.
