Job summary

Kidstlc in Olathe, KS is seeking a caregiver to support respite clients with daily activities and transportation. You will work with therapists and leaders to understand each treatment plan while upholding confidentiality and documenting care.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), a valid driver’s license, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Training in safety, P.A.C.E., and ESPI is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; college credit in related fields encouraged.
• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to establish trust and respect.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; strong organization and prioritization.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible; strong problem solving and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily care and activities of clients receiving respite care, including transportation.
• Collaborate with agency leaders, therapists and others to understand treatment plans and needs while maintaining confidentiality.
• Learn and apply teaching models (P.A.C.E.) and agency philosophy to create a positive learning environment.
• Respond to crises and conflicts promptly with care and professionalism and report to leaders.
• Maintain documentation and HIPAA compliance; ensure quality standards.
• Complete required trainings including First Aid, CPR, P.A.C.E. and ESPI; meet state requirements.
• Monitor residence conditions in line with state regulations.
