Job summary

Face to Face Health and Counseling is a nonprofit serving youth 11–24 with health care, counseling, and shelter services. The Resource Navigator will procure and manage supplies (food, hygiene, essential items) and ensure SafeZone resources are readily available.

This 37.5-hour-per-week role supports Drop-In and Supportive Services, collaborating with staff and community partners to meet youth needs and maintain program operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with youth experiencing homelessness or facing barriers.
• Strong organizational skills are essential.
• Experience with a positive youth development approach and harm reduction.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High reliability and integrity in performing duties.
• Able to work independently and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Engage with youth at the day shelter and assist with resources.
• Maintain organization of the Resource Room, Food Shelf, and Day Shelter.
• Stock and log inventory for Resource Room.
• Procure and transport goods from partners (Loaves and Fishes, Costco, etc.).
• Coordinate donations with the development team.
• Support volunteers and group projects.
• Maintain clean, organized shelter spaces and assist kitchen as needed.
• Check youth in at SafeZone with excellent customer service.
• Respond calmly to crises and de-escalate as needed.
