Job summary

Catholic Charities of Baltimore, St. Vincent's Villa, is seeking Residential Treatment Counselors to care for children ages 5-13 in a residential behavioral health program. You will supervise daily living activities, model respectful behavior, and support individual treatment plans.

The role offers 4- or 5-day workweeks, CARE and related trainings, and driving is required. Benefits include health/dental/vision and a 403(b) plan with growth opportunities in a trauma‑informed organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; must be at least 21 years of age.
• RTC I: 1 year of experience with children or special populations.
• RTC II/SR RTC: 18 months or lead staff responsibilities; valid driver license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists children in daily living activities to ensure safety and nurturance.
• Provides therapeutic guidance and models respectful behavior.
• Escorts children between locations and to appointments to maintain supervision.
• Uses CARE model and therapeutic judgement to maintain the milieu.
• Adjusts schedules and activities based on behavior and needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
