Job summary

KidsPeace seeks an Assistant House Manager to support the Residential Unit's administrative and operational coordination. You will assist the House Manager, help implement policies, and ensure staff and youth follow guidelines, with emphasis on safety and well-being.

Youth supervision is central; you will respond to emergencies, support performance, and contribute to program quality. Paid training and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 60 college credits with 3 years’ experience with children required, or a Bachelor's in Mental Health or Human Services with 1 year experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to complete restraints training as ordered by a licensed professional.

Responsibilities

• Support administrative and operational coordination of the Residential Unit.
• Assist the House Manager and ensure staff and clients follow guidelines.
• Respond to emergencies or critical incidents and maintain program safety.
• Provide supervision and guidance to children and adolescents with emotional/behavioral challenges.
