Job summary

NFI North, Inc. seeks a Shift Supervisor for the Oliver Place adolescent residential program in Bath, ME. You will oversee Direct Care Staff and program participants in support of the Assistant Director and daily operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s Degree in human services, social work, psychology or equivalent, with at least one year working with youth. Strong teamwork, crisis judgment, organization and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services, social work, psychology or equivalent is preferred; plus a minimum of one year working with youth.
• Good organization and communication skills; ability to delegate responsibilities and make quick, safe decisions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned Direct Care Staff and program participants in support of the Assistant Director and in carrying out program operations.
• Ensure safety, crisis management, and adherence to program policies; maintain effective team communication.
