Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Two years of college plus two years of relevant juvenile rehabilitation experience.
• Master’s degree can substitute for one year of experience.
• Ability to learn and grow; meet the needs of others.

Responsibilities

• Under close supervision, may manage a limited caseload of one to two young people.
• Assist with supervision and services to youth with complex disorders and their families.
• Assess behavior for risk and report to supervisors for intervention.
• Monitor compliance with parole conditions and service plans.
• Interview and obtain pertinent information from diverse sources.
• Support participation in community services and maintain professional boundaries.
• Remain calm and de-escalate crises using JR methods.
