Job summary

Piedmont is hiring an Assistant Site Lead to support the Schoolmates program. This part-time role involves supervising children, ensuring their safety, and assisting in educational and recreational activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child development and recreation supervision.

Responsibilities include responding to participant inquiries, leading diverse activities, and maintaining program equipment. Candidates must hold an Associate’s degree and relevant certifications. The position offers flexible hours, Monday to Friday, 20–29 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of play-based curriculum and recreational activities for children.
• Ability to organize and supervise group activities effectively.
• Experience in maintaining safety standards and providing first aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Lead in supervising children during activities.
• Maintain a safe and engaging environment for participants.
• Implement approved program plans and manage program inquiries.
