Job summary

RiseBoro Community Partnership is seeking a part-time Recreation Aide for its Youth Center in Brooklyn. You will plan and run after-school and weekend activities for youth, supervise participants, and ensure proper sign-in procedures.

You will build positive relationships with participants, model constructive behavior, and support program staff to deliver safe, high-quality activities that promote social and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Interest in mentoring youth and providing safe supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute recreational activities for youth in evening/weekend sessions.
• Supervise participants and ensure daily attendance.
• Enforce safety and program rules, report incidents as needed.
• Build positive relationships and serve as a positive role model.
