Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Recreational Manager for Les Peters Academy in St Petersburg, FL. You will join a dedicated Student Services team and provide daily recreational activities that are engaging, physically challenging, educational, and constructive under the supervision of the Clinical Director.

The role requires a BA/BS in therapeutic recreation or equivalent with 1–3 years of experience, strong leadership, and the ability to support youth aged 14 to 19 in a residential setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in therapeutic recreation or equivalent with 1–3 years' experience.
• Working knowledge of the Positive Operation Culture.
• Leadership ability to instill high-positive attitudes among staff and students.
• Background Screening, drug screening, and TB Test are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily recreational and leisure activities that are physically challenging, educational, and constructive.
• Recreation Manager reports to the Clinical Director.
• Support youth in a residential setting as part of the Student Services team.
