Adams and Associates' Glenmont Job Corps Center seeks a dynamic Recreation Advisor to design and lead engaging recreational programs that boost personal growth and teamwork among students. You will mentor youth, foster leadership, and align activities with the center's educational and vocational goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• AA degree or 1 year related experience working with youth.
• Valid in-State Driver's License and insurability requirements.
• CDL preferred.
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and assist as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recreational activities, including sports, fitness programs, outdoor adventures, and team-building.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages personal growth, teamwork, and leadership.
• Provide mentorship to students, helping them develop social skills, self-confidence, and resilience.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate recreational activities into the overall educational and vocational program.
• Monitor and assess student progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for positive change.
