Job summary

City of Pasadena, TX is seeking a Part-Time Recreation Attendant to help provide a safe, welcoming environment for children and youth at our Recreation Centers. You will supervise participants, facilitate activities, and support daily operations, including sign-in, registration, and attendance tracking.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and special events. Prior experience with children or in a recreational setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or youth preferred.
• Experience assisting with special events or group activities preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and youth to ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive recreational experience.
• Facilitate recreational activities (games, sports, arts and crafts).
• Maintain accurate participant sign-in sheets and attendance tracking.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and center cleanliness.
• Support the Summer Food Program and sanitize food preparation areas per ServSafe standards.
