Job summary

County of Maui seeks a Director to oversee winter and training programs for youth recreation activities. You will lead and mentor the recreation leaders and aides, plan daily curricula, and actively participate in all instructional activity.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in education or recreation, a valid Hawaii driver’s license, and strict adherence to program rules. TB clearance and pre-employment screening are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in elementary education, physical education or recreation or equivalent experience.
• TB Clearance required prior to interview.
• Must have a vehicle and valid Hawaii-type 3 license.
• Pre-employment drug screening may be required.
