Job summary

Bend Park and Recreation District is seeking a Part-time Childcare Team Lead for the Kids' Corner program at Juniper Swim and Fitness Center. The role combines frontline lead duties with program supervision, ensuring safe and rewarding activities for children ages 6 months to 8 years.

You'll supervise staff, mentor Rec 1 crew, address risk management, coordinate activities and communicate with parents and partners.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college courses in related field preferred.
• 1 year of experience in area of responsibility and/or performing similar tasks.
• Any satisfactory combination of education, experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Supervise assigned youth recreation programs and participants, staff and volunteers.
• Provide leadership, training, mentoring and direction to staff; assist in hiring/evaluating staff.
• Plan, organize and supervise developmentally appropriate activities.
