Job summary

National Fitness Center seeks a Childcare Coordinator to assist the Area Activities Manager in overseeing children’s activities (Kids in Motion, childcare, birthday parties, summer camps) and to support swim lessons and coaching per outlined duties. You will lead the Childcare/KIM team, ensure shift coverage, and help the Directors meet monthly goals while delivering strong customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree a plus.
• Experience in health, fitness, recreation or club environments preferred.
• supervisory experience and customer service skills emphasized.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Childcare/KIM activities.
• Coordinate schedules and payroll per budget needs.
• Hire, train and coach team; ensure policy compliance.
• Prepare reports for Area Activities Manager and Directors.
• Maintain communication across clubs and vendors.
