Job summary

Acquire4Hire is seeking a Youth Development Professional in Meadowview, Virginia to supervise members and support club programming. You will help plan activities, ensure safety, and model positive behavior during all program hours.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to work approximately 30 hours per week with occasional travel to other sites. A background check is required, and you'll collaborate with staff to deliver engaging, educational experiences.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18 years or older at start date.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required; assistance provided to obtain if needed.
• Background check and fingerprinting required.
• Must be available to work 7:30 am–5:30 pm and travel to other sites.

Responsibilities

• Ensure members actively participate in activities and programs.
• Encourage members to seek guidance from staff when needed.
• Provide caring supervision and recognition for members’ efforts.
• Assist in organizing and implementing a range of program services and activities.
• Initiate new programs with Program Director approval and make recommendations.
• Maintain safety, positive values, and Club appearance at all times.
• Guide members and act as a role model.
• Assist in maintaining inventories of program equipment and supplies.
• Keep all supplies and equipment clean and in good order after use.
