Job summary

You’ll assist in organizing varied, age-appropriate activities and programs, while maintaining equipment and supplies. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid, ability to travel to other sites, and a willingness to work 7:30

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications; assistance to obtain provided.
• Pass a Drug Screening test.
• Demonstrate creative, organizational, and project management abilities.
• Ability to deal effectively with members, including disciplinary issues.
• Demonstrated ability in relationship building and working with young people and parents.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Must be available to work from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.
• Must be willing to travel to other sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise members in the program area and maintain club goals and safety.
• Encourage members to seek staff guidance when needed.
• Provide caring supervision and recognition for members' efforts.
• Assist Site Coordinators in organizing a range of fun and instructional activities.
• Initiate new programs with Program Director approval and make recommendations.
• Ensure safety, positive values, and ethical behavior in programs and appearance.
• Guide members and act as a role model.
• Assist in maintaining inventories of all program equipment and supplies.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are kept in good order and area is clean after usage.
