Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Illinois Satellite Site seeks a dedicated staff member to assist the Site Director in supervising daily operations, ensuring proper sign-in/out, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for program participants.

Responsibilities include supporting program staff with students, monitoring behavior, coordinating transportation when needed, planning engaging activities, and representing the organization to families and partners while upholding policies and safety

Qualifications

Knowledge of youth development.
Ability to motivate and guide youth through positive relationships.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid Illinois Driver’s License required or preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist program staff in managing disruptive students and behavior issues.
Monitor students who face disciplinary action or are removed from class.
Ensure daily sign-in/sign-out of participants and accurate record keeping.
Suggest new program offerings and help implement plans to start them.
Plan and lead field trips to enhance program activities and learning.
Represent the organization and explain policies to participants, parents and the public.
Maintain cleanliness and orderly appearance of the facility.
