Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Illinois is seeking a Membership Clerk/Security Guard-Harvard Park to help oversee the satellite site, sign in/out children, and support program staff in maintaining a safe, engaging environment for youth.

You will assist with transitions, monitor behavior, coordinate with the Site Director, and help ensure transportation logistics and field trips run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development and ability to motivate youth.
• Ability to organize and supervise participants for safety.
• Strong verbal and written communication with youth, parents and staff.
• Familiarity with school-age program needs and safety procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily atmosphere and premises alongside Site Director.
• Sign in/out participants and ensure correct locations.
• Support staff with disruptive students and discipline.
• Assist with transportation and bus arrangements as needed.
• Represent the organization to participants, parents and the community.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of program areas.
