Responsibilities

• Plan and present youth programs for ages 0–18
• Plan and present regular storytimes for ages 0–18 months to 6 years
• Assist with annual reading challenges and Summer Reading Challenge
• Record statistics and evaluate program effectiveness
• Travel to other branches to assist with programs
• Staff the youth areas and promote programs
• Assist patrons with catalog, holds, and digital resources
• Participate in youth outreach services to schools and community groups
• Staff the service desk as needed
• Maintain safety and welcoming environment for youth
