Job summary

Fort Bend County is seeking a dedicated Youth Outreach Coordinator to support the Expose Excellence Youth Program (EEYP). You will help recruit and retain students and assist in planning workshops, camps, field trips, and events.

You will coordinate with school districts, community groups, and law enforcement to support EEYP outreach, supervise participants, and manage communications with families and partners.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required
• 1 year of work experience with youth (10-17) preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Evening and weekend work required
• Microsoft Office proficiency; Canva, social media, graphic design, video editing preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists EEYP Outreach Manager with recruiting and maintaining a student base for EEYP
• Plans and implements EEYP programming: workshops, camps, field trips, events, evenings and weekends
• Interacts with school districts, community organizations, local businesses, and law enforcement to support EEYP outreach
• Supervises, mentors, and engages youth participants in a safe environment
• Maintains communication with students, parents, volunteers, and community partners
• Assists with volunteer coordination and data collection
• Assists with EEYP marketing and communications including social media, Canva, photography and video editing
• Represent EEYP at community events and perform related admin duties
• Participates in emergency management activities as directed
