Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Program Manager for a charity focused on youth development in the George area. You will lead strategic planning, implementation, and evaluation of social service programs that empower local youth and partner with schools, communities, and government agencies.

The role requires at least five years in program management within the non-profit sector, strong leadership, budgeting, and grant writing skills, and a track record of delivering high-quality services

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in program management within charity/non-profit sector.
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and grant writing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and evaluate youth-focused programs.
• Oversee program budgets and financial accountability.
• Supervise program staff including social workers and facilitators.
• Build partnerships with schools, community organizations, and government agencies.
• Develop reports, track KPIs, and ensure funding compliance.
• Identify opportunities for expansion and innovation.
