Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the administration and daily operations of the program office serving Hartford, Bridgeport, and New Haven, CT.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure contract compliance, and deliver high-quality services to youth and families. Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, supervisory experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Human Services preferred.
• Supervisory experience in a community-based agency is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; experience with an EHR system is a plus.
• Ability to manage budgets and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care and youth development.
• Willingness to travel within CT coverage area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake, assessment, and development of individualized service plans using a wraparound model and ensure services align with contract requirements.
• Monitor service delivery to meet program goals and contractual obligations.
• Cultivate relationships with referral sources and partners.
• Recruit, train, and supervise direct service and administrative staff; provide ongoing staff development.
• Lead staff meetings and trainings; support problem solving and resource access for participants and families.
• Ensure timely submission of reports, billing, and documentation; manage local program within budget.
