Peckham, Inc. in Lansing, MI seeks a WIOA Youth Assistant Manager to lead and supervise the WIOA Youth programs and Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates in Eaton and Clinton County.

The role requires coordinating services with community partners, monitoring referrals and caseloads, and approving education and support service payments. The Assistant Manager will also serve as a Career Coach for a small caseload and supervise a team of Youth Services staff, ensuring program design and service delivery

Qualifikationen

• Must have access to reliable transportation for frequent trips off-site as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, psychology, or a related field and 1-2 years related experience and/or training required.
• Or 5-6 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• Must have knowledge of principles and processes for providing career counseling and guidance and customer and personal services utilizing customer needs assessment and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality and interests; and learning and motivation.

Aufgaben

• Monitor referrals and caseloads for program eligibility, compliance, documentation and adherence to policy.
• Train and supervise program staff, monitor for staff compliance with program requirements.
• Provide problem solving and emergency participant intervention as needed.
• Conduct file audits to assure compliance with CAMW!, State, and Peckham standards.
• Ensure contractual obligations are met and performance measures reached to remain in good standing with contracts.
• Review and approve client supportive service requests.
• Serve as a point of contact for CAMW! Employment Services and Administration.
• Attend meetings as required by CAMW! Peckham and other partner agencies.

Ausbildung
