Job summary

Peckham Inc. seeks a WIOA Youth Assistant Manager to lead and supervise the WIOA Youth and Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates programs in Eaton and Clinton counties. The role includes monitoring referrals, conducting file audits, and coordinating with partners to ensure contract performance.

You will act as a career coach for a small caseload and manage staff, budgets, and service payments to meet contract requirements and performance targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; 1–2 years of related experience, or 5–6 years of related experience in lieu of degree.
• GCDF or BSP certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of career counseling, customer service, and motivational interviewing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor referrals and caseloads for eligibility, compliance, documentation and policy adherence.
• Train and supervise program staff; monitor for compliance with requirements.
• Conduct file audits and ensure CAMW!, State, Peckham standards are met.
• Assist in managing program budgets, contract mods and monitoring expenses.
• Prepare responses to CAMW! and the Accountability Committee regarding performance outcomes.
• Coordinate services with CAMW!, community partners and referral sources.
