Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
• Paid or volunteer experience working with youth.
• Experience planning or presenting programs to appropriate audiences using books, crafts, and other activities.

Responsibilities

• Support Youth Services with programming and outreach.
• Assist patrons with materials and digital resources.
• Plan and present weekly story times for children.
• Record attendance and manage library displays.
• Respond to patron inquiries in person, by phone, and online.
• Maintain library shelves and materials.
