Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Youth Program Manager to lead Guides, coach teams, and shape a new K-12 model across campuses including Greenwich, CT. This role focuses on coaching, life skills workshops, and driving student outcomes rather than classroom teaching.

You will build high-performing teams, use data to drive performance, and help launch new campuses. This is a full-time, on-site position with relocation support and a compensation of $200,000 USD per year, paid weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or related leadership.
• Experience leading teams of five or more.
• Experience using data to drive performance improvements.
• Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental setting.
• Experience building or launching a new team, program, business, school, or initiative, with willingness to help open a new campus from zero.
• Willingness to work in a school model that rejects traditional lecture-based pedagogy.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Coaching Guides to consistently deliver exceptional student experiences while maintaining Alpha's high standards.
• Leading engaging life skills workshops that develop communication, leadership, focus, and other real-world skills for K-12 students.
• Motivating students to achieve ambitious learning goals and maximize progress in their self-directed academic programs.
• Using data, observation, and coaching conversations to improve Guide performance and student outcomes.
• Helping launch and establish new Alpha campuses by building a culture centered on excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
