Job summary

The Boys and Girls Club of Mason Valley seeks a Youth Development Professional (YDP) to help deliver safe, engaging programs for youth aged 6–18. You will apply youth development principles, supervise activities, and promote character development across all Club Areas.

This part-time role supports planning and delivery with the Program Operations team, coordinating tournaments and drop-in activities, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a positive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of youth development principles and practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; CPR and First Aid certification.
• Minimum one year of experience with youth ages 6-18.
• Ability to run more than one activity and manage a group of 25.
• Valid state driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Incorporate youth development principles into programs and activities.
• Provide guidance and discipline to ensure a safe, positive environment.
• Deliver engaging educational activities for youth ages 6-18.
• Coordinate tournaments and drop-in games across Club Areas.
• Maintain equipment and supplies daily.
• Assist leadership in planning and delivery of programs.
