Mercy Street is seeking an After-School and Summer Camp Coordinator to manage daily out-of-school-time programming for K–5. You will coordinate staff, schedules, supplies, and participant records while maintaining strong family communication and program logistics.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of experience working with children or youth.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Current CPR/first‑aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• Ability to work during peak after‑school and seasonal summer program hours.
• Alignment with the ministry’s Christian mission and statement of faith.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily program schedules and activities.
• Support staff assignments, substitutes, attendance, and timekeeping.
• Maintain participant enrollment, attendance, emergency, and authorized‑pickup records.
• Communicate program information to parents and caregivers.
• Prepare classrooms, materials, meals, transportation, and activity supplies.
• Help implement behavior‑support and safety procedures.
• Conduct routine site and program‑quality checks.
• Assist with volunteer orientation and supervision.
• Collect data for grants, reports, and program evaluation.
• Escalate safety, staffing, family, or participant concerns appropriately; serve as program lead when the Director is unavailable.
