Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking staff to support a CACFP-compliant food service program. You will follow policies, assist with meal preparation, and help ensure quality nutrition for program participants.

Responsibilities include cooking a variety of foods from standard recipes and assisting with menus and orders. You may also train other kitchen staff and youth clubs, contributing to program safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Plans and implements CACFP food service following policies and procedures.
• Performs varied cooking tasks including cleaning, paring, slicing and grilling.
• Cooks meats, seafood, vegetables, stews, sauces and baked goods from recipes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-the-job training of kitchen staff and youth cooking clubs.
• Collaborate with Nutrition Specialists to prepare menus and submit orders.
