Job summary

Howell Recreation seeks a Youth and Family Supervisor to plan, organize, and oversee HAPRA programs for school-age youth, teens, and families. You will lead The Hive, summer camp, and family programming, coordinating staff, facilities, and participant records.

The role requires strong budgeting, scheduling, and supervisory skills, with evenings and some weekends, plus potential travel to partner sites. 40-hour workweek with school-year afternoons/evenings and daytime summers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Recreation, Administration, Education, or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily operation of youth, teen, family, and summer camp programs.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, facilities, supplies, and participant records.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching of part-time staff and volunteers.
• Monitor registrations, attendance, waitlists, and program trends; adjust as needed.
