Job summary

CareerSource Tampa Bay seeks a Director of Youth Programs to lead workforce development initiatives across Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties. You will oversee WIOA, Welfare Transition, SNAP, and Youth programs, ensuring high-quality services and successful job placements while maintaining compliance with federal and state guidelines.

The role requires strategic leadership, program management experience, and the ability to coordinate with partners and government agencies to meet performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience in employment/training services; management experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Knowledge of region's community-based and employer organizations; ability to access databases and the internet.

Responsibilities

• Directs the activities and operations of workforce development programs.
• Develops and maintains policies and procedures for program implementation.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations and policies.
• Markets programs through promotional materials and events; builds partnerships.
