Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or higher education equivalent.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to plan months in advance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access).
• Independent judgment, initiative, and administrative skills.
• Innovative, positive role model for members and staff; team player.
• Comfortable with handling multiple projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff year-round and seasonally.
• Develop staff through feedback, mentorship, and performance management.
• Deliver onboarding and professional development opportunities for youth and camp staff.
• Maintain accurate records, rosters, schedules, and documentation.
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Support communications, marketing, and program promotion efforts.
• Collaborate with directors to incorporate Jewish values into youth programming.
• Supervise Club J operations, summer programs, and after care activities.
• Coordinate with Camp Chai leadership for Summer Specialists and After Care.
