Job summary

The Memphis Jewish Community Center (MJCC) seeks a Director of Camp, Youth and Family Services to lead Day Camp, J Club After School, Family Programming, Camp 365 and Kid's Night Out. You will supervise staff, oversee budgets and enrollments, and collaborate to weave Jewish content into programming.

Ideal candidate has 2-5 years in related work, a Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred), and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications or willingness to obtain them.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 2-5 years of related work experience.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience managing budgets and program operations.
• Ability to train and supervise staff, including seasonal and leadership staff.
• Develops creative programming for youth and teens.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Assistant Director and Administrative Assistant and all staff.
• Lead planning and execution of all Camp, Youth and Family Services programming.
• Manage Day Camp, Camp 365, J Club After School, After School Clubs, Family Programming and Kid's Night Out.
• Collaborate to incorporate meaningful Jewish content in programming.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets.
• Lead hiring, onboarding and supervision of year-round and seasonal staff.
• Monitor enrollment numbers and growth metrics.
• Develop year-round camp and youth engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing to promote programs.
• Be a member of MJCC Management Team and attend monthly meetings.
• Ensure ACA accreditation is maintained.
