Memphis Jewish Community Center invites applications for Director of Camp, Youth and Family Services. The role leads Day Camp, J Club After School, Family Programming and related initiatives, aligning with the MJCC mission and operating goals.

Responsibilities include overseeing staff and budgets, supervising year-round and seasonal personnel, developing engaging programming for youth and teens, collaborating with marketing, and ensuring ACA accreditation is maintained while expanding camp and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
CPR, First Aid, and AED Certification or willingness to obtain.
Experience managing budgets and program operations preferred.
Demonstrated ability to train and manage staff, including seasonal and leadership staff.
Demonstrated ability to develop creative programming for youth and teens.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and extended hours during Day Camp season.

Responsabilités

Supervise department staff including the Assistant Director and Administrative Assistant.
Plan and execute all Camp, Youth and Family Services programs.
Collaborate to incorporate meaningful Jewish content into programming.
Develop, implement and manage departmental budgets.
Lead hiring, onboarding and supervision of staff.
Report enrollment numbers and growth metrics.
Develop year‑round camp and youth engagement opportunities.
Collaborate with Marketing to promote programs.
Maintain American Camp Association Accreditation.
