Job summary

The YMCA of Greater New York is seeking a Part-Time Program Coordinator at the Flatbush YMCA in Brooklyn, NY. You will develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate programs at the branch and off-sites, focusing on quality service delivery and staff development.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (Bachelor’s preferred) and at least two years’ experience in youth programs, with strong MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills and familiarity with Access/Adobe tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in youth programs.
• General knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; Access, Adobe PageMaker, and Photoshop preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of participants with supervision at all times.
• Maintain accurate program documentation (participant files, data entry, attendance, reports).
• Support Site Director and supervise staff and volunteers in program implementation.
