Job summary

The Colorado Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) seeks a Program Coordinator to oversee the National Guard Child and Youth Program (CYP) for Colorado. You will support military-connected children and youth, promoting well-being, development, and resilience across the National Guard community in Centennial.

Based at Joint Force Headquarters in Centennial, the role requires coordinating budgets, records, MOUs, and volunteer oversight; travel within Colorado and beyond is expected.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of professional experience in an occupation related to Youth Development, Recreation Administration, Education, Social Work, Human Development, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
• A combination of education in Youth or Human Development, Recreation Administration, Education, Social Work, or Public Administration
• Professional experience in Youth or Human Development, Recreation Administration, Education, Social Work, or Public Administration, or a closely related field equal to six (6) years.
• College Transcripts should be submitted if using education to qualify.
• Special Qualifications include First Aid and CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with DoD/NGB regulations and state policies.
• Coordinate training, events, and youth programming for the National Guard CYP.
