Gallaudet University seeks an Associate Youth Programs Coordinator to plan and oversee year-round youth and summer programs for Deaf and hard of hearing students and families. You will coordinate registrations, housing, and field trips, while serving as main contact for campers and staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years in student services or related fields, with ASL communication skills highly valued.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required.
At least two years of experience in student services, recruitment and outreach or related field.

Responsibilities

Plan and coordinate year-round youth and summer programs for campers and families.
Manage camper registrations, medical releases, waivers, and data in Slate or university systems.
Coordinate housing, transportation, and field-trip logistics with campus partners.
Support recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, and background checks for camp staff.
Develop training materials and orientation including CPR/First Aid and Title IX scheduling.
Maintain camp materials, equipment, and vendor relationships to support delivery.
Track budget and expenditures; provide regular updates to the team.
Serve as a responsive point of contact for campers, families, instructors, and staff.
