Qualifications

• At least nine (9) units in Child Development, or Child, Family & Community, or ECE Program and Curriculum.
• Three (3) years of increasingly responsible experience in childcare program development and implementation.
• Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in recreation administration, child development, liberal studies, physical education, business or public administration, or a closely related field.
• Possession of a site Supervisor/Superintendent Permit or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and oversee daily operations of youth programs.
• Plan and implement school-year programming for K-5.
• Oversee summer camp activities and coordinate winter/spring holiday programming.
• Coordinate various activities to provide a safe and fun environment for children.
• Engage children with crafts, games, homework help, and supervision.
