Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows Fernley Clubhouse is seeking a Youth Development Professional (YDP) to support BGCTM programs across five core areas by engaging members in safe, structured activities. Under Site Coordinator supervision, you will prepare materials, maintain a positive environment, model BGCTM values, and build supportive relationships.

The role emphasizes strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work with youth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or currently enrolled in high school.
• Minimum of 6 months of experience working with youth or teens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand BGCTM program requirements and objectives across all 5 core areas: Art, Character & Leadership Development, Education/STEM, Health & Life Skills, and Sports/Fitness/Recreation.
• Deliver and support activities that stimulate member participation, under Site Coordinator supervision.
• Interact and engage continuously with members in a positive and supportive manner.
