Qualifications

  • Minimum 18 months of professional experience in youth programming and military family program experience.
  • Knowledge of developmental principles, practices, and age-appropriate programming for youth (ages 6 weeks to 18 years).
  • Ability to manage funds, equipment and records; strong interpersonal and English communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and care for children and youth in indoor/outdoor activities and during field trips and events.
  • Assist in preparing age-appropriate activities and snacks/meals; coordinate and supervise volunteers.
  • Brief staff and parents on activities; conduct inventory and ensure health and safety compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations for DoW Child & Youth programs.
