Job summary

AMIkids Branch in Louisiana seeks a Food Service Worker to teach and safely conduct the planning, preparation, and serving of Program meals for youth under supervision. You will supervise youth in quality menu planning, food preparation, and serving standards.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 12pm–8pm. Responsibilities include planning menus, maintaining kitchen records, ensuring safety and cleanliness, and supporting special program events.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of related experience.
• ServSafe certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and submit weekly programs menus and inventories.
• Supervise and instruct youth in food preparation and serving of meals.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness of kitchen facilities and equipment.
• Maintain records for production, inventories, temperature logs and audits.
• Support special events and program activities with meals and catering.

Education
