Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington is seeking a Branch Director/Program Director to provide support and direction for activities within focused program areas such as Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education.

You will uphold a safe, engaging environment, promote youth development outcomes, supervise staff and volunteers, monitor program quality, and prepare reports while maintaining facility and equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and promoting development.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior.
• Knowledge of youth development principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and direction for activities in Education, Social Recreation, Arts & Crafts, and Physical Education.
• Create a SAFE environment that facilitates Youth Development Outcomes.
• Promote program participation and ensure daily key youth development elements.
• Maintain facilities, coordinate with staff/volunteers, and communicate operations.
• Monitor and evaluate programs for safety, quality, and appearance.
