Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Santa Monica is seeking a Youth Development Professional (YDP) to plan, supervise, and implement high‑yield activities for middle school members, focusing on academics, healthy lifestyles, character & leadership, and career exploration. The YDP also helps members make informed decisions about education, career, and well‑being.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth and mentoring
• Program facilitation and curriculum planning
• Data collection and case file management
• Ability to work Monday through Friday 12pm–6pm, 15–29 hours per week (school year) and summer as needed

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise program activities for middle school members
• Assist in curriculum development and lesson planning; support daily program prep
• Maintain accurate case files and track progress/outcomes
• Plan and lead specialized events and enrichment activities
• Handle administrative duties and budget tracking for supplies
• Ensure facilities are clean, organized, and safe
