Job summary

Congreso De Latinos Uni in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Lead Group Facilitator for onsite 25 hours per week to support the Site Coordinator in after-school and summer programs. You will supervise group facilitators, interns, and youth, promoting a positive experience and using data to drive decisions.

The role emphasizes compliance, quality assurance, and strong collaboration with school staff and Congreso teams, with a focus on a trauma-informed approach and DEI&B values.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in early childhood education or related field, or a high school diploma with 3+ years of experience.
• 2 years’ work experience in early childhood education or afterschool settings.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
• Mandated Reporter and VRA training certificate or willingness to complete post hire.

Responsibilities

• Represent Congreso’s mission, values, and commitment to diversity and inclusion.
• Provide expertise and support to group facilitators in child development and education.
• Support program progress and direct actions based on needs of the program and participants.
• Lead and mentor site team members (contractors, part-time, volunteers, interns, youth).
• Coordinate daily debriefings with Site Coordinator to discuss concerns and program development.
• Liaise between school staff and Congreso staff regarding building use and administrative support.
• Maintain accurate attendance records and complete data entry forms per contracts.
• Build positive relationships with participants' families and recruit/enroll students.
• Participate in planning and implementing special events and activities.
• Facilitate or substitute teaching clubs and activities as needed.
